Charmaine Nziradzemhuka
Charmaine Nziradzemhuka is a Zimbabwean fashion designer renowned for her innovative approach to contemporary style. Born and raised in Harare, she honed her craft at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta, Georgia, gaining hands-on experience to refine her design expertise. During her time at SCAD, she worked at the SCAD FASH Museum, where she engaged with leading designers such as Mary Katrantzou.
Her career includes impactful collaborations, such as the “I Wear My Culture Project” by the British Council and Paper Bag Africa, led by Gilmore Tee. She also spearheaded a Wearable Tech workshop at Texpo at St. George’s College, partnering with tech professionals from Learning Factory.
Charmaine’s work has been showcased on international platforms, including Norway, where she paid tribute to her two uncles lost during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her designs have graced prestigious events such as the Style Icon Awards, Fabrik Party, Sustainable Fête, The Herald Lifestyle Fashion Extravaganza, and the Matobo Women Pop-up Event by the German Society.
